Guardian Agents
What is a Guardian Agent?
A Guardian Agent is an independently licensed real estate professional who chooses to follow a protection mindset: clear communication, structured milestones, and risk-aware guidance—so you feel informed, prepared, and supported.
Plain-English boundary: Realty Guardian® provides administrative coordination and program guidelines only. Any agency relationship is between you and your chosen agent/brokerage.
What Guardian Agents do
Protection mindset in real life
- Set expectations early, so you know what happens next
- Communicate clearly—especially when pressure hits
- Flag common risks: timelines, deadlines, documents, and decisions
- Coordinate proactively with the parties involved in the transaction
- Help you stay calm, informed, and on track from start to close
Note: Guardian Agents may vary in style and availability. Participating in the program does not guarantee a specific outcome.
Why it matters
Most transaction stress comes from uncertainty.
You shouldn’t have to guess what’s happening, what’s next, or whether something important was missed. A Guardian Agent focuses on clarity, structure, and communication so problems are less likely to surprise you.
Clear communication
Regular updates and simple explanations so you’re not left wondering where things stand.
Structured milestones
A practical roadmap: key deadlines, next steps, and what you should expect at each stage.
Risk-aware guidance
Proactive attention to common pitfalls like timing, documents, expectations, and preventable mistakes.
Important clarifications
What a Guardian Agent is not
These boundaries protect you from confusion and protect Realty Guardian® from being misunderstood.
Not “Realty Guardian employees”
Guardian Agents are independent real estate professionals. They are not employees or representatives of Realty Guardian®.
Not insurance coverage
Realty Guardian® safeguards are not insurance, warranties, or guarantees, and they do not replace title or homeowners insurance.
Not a guarantee
Real estate involves third parties and variables. No program can guarantee that a transaction will close or avoid delays.
Legal/representation boundary: Realty Guardian® does not provide real estate representation, legal advice, tax advice, or financial advice. Always consult qualified professionals for those needs.
How it works
How matching works (and what it means)
When you request a Guardian Agent, we attempt to connect you based on location and availability. Matching is not a ranking, endorsement, or guarantee of performance.
-
1
You submit a request
We review your location, timeline, and whether you’re buying or selling.
-
2
We connect you with an available Guardian Agent
We introduce you to a participating agent (or the nearest available option) who can reach out directly.
-
3
You decide who you hire
You are free to interview, choose, or decline any agent. Any agency relationship is with the agent/brokerage you select.
No reliance / no duty statement: Realty Guardian® does not guarantee agent availability, response time, outcomes, or any reimbursement. Realty Guardian® disclaims any duty of care arising from introductions or matching, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Tip: If you’re under a deadline (offer, inspection, listing timeline), mention it in your request so we can prioritize availability.
Safeguards
How safeguards relate to Guardian Agents
Realty Guardian® safeguards are applied based on transaction price (listing price or sales price). There is no plan selection and no upsell.
Price-based assignment
Safeguard levels are assigned administratively by price and may require documentation for any eligibility review.
Not insurance
Safeguards are program features and procedural support—never insurance, warranties, or guarantees against loss.
Terms apply
Safeguards and any reimbursement features (if offered) are subject to eligibility requirements, limits, and program terms.
For full details on participation and responsibilities, see the Guardian Agent Terms of Service and Disclosures pages.
